The Tustin Police Department operates under a Community Governance philosophy which promotes partnership and problem-solving with the community. With approximately 100 sworn Police Officers and 55 Civilian Support Personnel the Department provides its officers and civilians opportunities to gain exposure to a wide variety of municipal police activities. Upon completion of the construction of the former Tustin Marine Base, it is estimated the city will add 34 additional police personnel.
